Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Text & Layout Kit Canva app (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

The App provides a set of tools inside the Canva editor: adding spacing between paragraphs in a text box, wrapping text around an overlapping image, and generating a vector QR code from a URL. The App runs inside Canva's sandboxed iframe.

2. Acceptable use

• You are responsible for the content you edit and for any URL you encode, including ensuring you have the right to use and share it.
• Do not use the App to generate QR codes that link to malicious, unlawful, deceptive, or infringing content.
• Do not attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App.

3. Intellectual property

The App and its source code are the property of the App's authors. The designs and QR codes you create are yours to use, subject to your compliance with these Terms and Canva's own terms.

4. Third-party services

The App runs inside Canva and uses Canva's APIs to read your selection and update your design. Your use of Canva is governed by Canva's Terms of Use.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. In particular, because Canva does not expose text measurements to apps, the text-wrapping tool is approximate and may require manual adjustment; and QR codes are not guaranteed to be readable by every scanner under every condition — always review the result before publishing.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App's authors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
